Here we are, just as the BAFTAs have been announced and today the Academy Awards 2013 have arrived with their announcements for their awards for the last year and it's not a hugely different list although there are a few less for Skyfall and a bit more love for Spielberg.

I have to say that unlike previous years there aren't any nominations that have me perplexed, this year it's a pretty good list and a well deserving one too.
