Sucker Punch trailer and amazing screen captures
What?! Wait till you see some of the footage in the Sucker Punch trailer, it's incredible, really. Some of those shots just left me thinking "what the hell did I just see?". There are some amazing shots, and I've cherry picked some cracking images from the trailer as well as giving you the Sucker Punch trailer, in high definition too.
Zack Snyder is looking as though he's on full throttle with this film, a film which was actually written before Watchmen and planned to be made so. It took some five years to write, and perhaps that's no wonder when you see the trailer.
Here's an official blurb for Sucker Punch, which sets you on the right path for the amazing trailer:
"Set in the 1950s, it tells the story of Baby Doll (Browning), who is trying to hide from the pain caused by her evil stepfather and lobotomy. She ends up in mental institution in Brattleboro, Vermont and while there she starts to imagine alternative reality. She plans to escape from that imaginary world but to do that she needs to steal five objects before she is caught by a vile man. She has 5 days to escape before being lobotomized. In order to cope with the situation, she enters the hyper-real world of her imagination, and the lines between reality and dream begin to blur. She is joined with friends who are inmates from the institution. Lessons learned in the said fantasy world could help the girls escape their real-world fate."
As usual Zack Snyder delivers some top class visuals in the film trailer, some that will blow you away. I actually watched the version below and now I'm going to head over to Apple Trailers and watch it in Quicktime high definition and slow step through some of those shots. In fact, let me grab a few for you now for after the trailer.
Snyder co-wrote the film along with Steve Shibuya and it stars Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jon Hamm, Carla Gugino, Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish, and Scott Glenn. It does look fantastic and definitely worth watching the trailer alone.
Here are some of those amazing shots in a nice slideshow, and you can see all those images in larger formats on Flickr:
Now just to hammer the point home, here are some key shots, again Flickr offers multiple sizes:
