Martin's All of Me remake with Latifah?!

SteveMartin.jpgAll of Me was the comedy with Lily Tomlin and Steve Martin (back when Martin was funny) where the soul of Tomlin's character fell into the body of a man played by Martin, some hilarious moments then followed. Now it's being remade and Queen Latifah is set to star.

This story rings a bell, and although I can't find it I do remember writing something about Queen Latifah joining this remake soe time back. Although to be fair it isn't a surprise as this remake has been running for years, however it seems to be only now that Latifah has been announced as joining over at Variety.

The remake doesn't bode well, why remake another back catalogue film, and why All of Me, one of Steve Martin's most enjoyable comedies?
