Simon Pegg adapts Norwegian animation

SimonPegg.jpgSimon Pegg has been a busy man after Shaun of the Dead, and not just with the odd Zombie cameo and working towards his Hot Fuzz movie. No, he's also been rescripting a Norwegian animation film called Free Jimmy with English dialogue.

He's not just written the dialogue, but according to Cinematical he had to ensure that the new English dialogue fit perfectly with the characters mouth movements as well. So no tall order there then!

The film has the most intruiging short blurb, the larger one from IMDB reads even more bizarrely, however this is enough to capture the idea:

Four stoners, five vegans, three mobsters, four hunters and a million reasons to free one junkie elephant.

Yes. Interesting. The cast is quite impressive as well with names such as...

Woody Harrelson, Simon Pegg, Phil Daniels, Kyle MacLachlan, Samantha Morton, James Cosmo, David Tennant, Jim Broadbent

Sounds quite odd, and a hell of a lot of work for Pegg, but he's managed it and there's an impressive cast behind it. Just no release date in the UK as yet.

One of my fave moments from M:i:III was with Simon Pegg explaining about the *toot-toot* theory.
