New trailer for The Woman in Black
The Woman in Black is getting a lot of publicity right now, and rightly so for the trailers do make the film look really creepy, and not in a loud scream in your face when you're not expecting it way while watching through a hand held, first person camera.
The film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Ciarán Hinds, Janet McTeer and Roger Allam in the Jane Goldman adaptation of the Susan Hill novel which James Watkins has directed, and that list all has their own talent to bring to the film, making it a very intriguing proposition, and the latest trailer reflects that again.
There's not that much to say about the trailer other than it's another one and it's really good.
The film sees a young lawyer visiting the home of a recently deceased client to see to closing their estate, however once there he discovers the ghost of a woman who is seeking vengeance for some wrong doing in her past.
I really like the composition of the trailer, and the very promising fact that the scares aren't made up of the sudden, big, in your face scares that horror seem to believe are the staple. I'm really hoping that this is genuinely returning to when British horror films were strong.
Here's the new trailer for The Woman in Black which comes from Trailer Addict which does contain some new footage:
