Ridley Scott's The Counsellor doesn't have an alien in sight thankfully, although it does have an android. Michael Fassbender returns to take the lead of the thriller with stars lined up alongside him with Brad Pitt, Natalie Dormer, Penélope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem, Dean Norris, John Leguizamo, Rosie Perez, Goran Visnjic, Bruno Ganz and a couple of surprising names with Donna Air and Emma Rigby from Hollyoaks.

It's a great list, and an unusual one too in places, but the thing you should really be watching out for is that trailer. It's a good one. There's all the style of a Scott thriller and it looks like it's going to be deliver a hefty punch to go along with it.

The plot for The Counsellor is simple, a lawyer gets himself in deep in drug trafficking and for the sake of one job his whole life is getting turned over. Watch the trailer to see how strong it's looking. Oh and if you didn't realise this has been written by Cormac McCarthy, and that should be an added bonus for most.
