Nolan gains Chastain for next film
Christopher Nolan is building a strong cast on his next film Interstellar, and typically for Nolan it's a film we know little about but what we do know sounds intriguing.
Now there's some new casting that's adding a little excitement to it, as if we didn't have enough at it being a Christopher Nolan film, do we really need more?
What we do know of Christopher Nolan's next film is that it's called Interstellar and was a project that Steven Spielberg once had in his hands and was developing.
Spielberg was working on the film which was connected with the theories of physicist Kip S. Thorne regarding using wormholes for time travel. Then JonathanNolan was writing on the script and when Spielberg left the project on came Christopher Nolan and secrecy descending.
Deadline, who have the casting news which comes through First Showing, do have a little hint of an outline in that the film will be about an epic interstellar voyage to the farthest reaches of scientific understanding. That sounds like it could be on similar lines to that The Black Hole remake, although the final works will be radically different.
The casting news is that Jessica Chastain is in talks to join Interstellar which already has Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway on the cast, and that's a good list.
Nolan will be keeping the project secret and under wraps once again, and quite rightly too, but that just adds to the interest and excitement in the film. These days we're just expecting brilliance from Nolan with every film.
