After Earth new trailer shows more story
A new trailer for After Earth has appeared online and one of the big strengths of it is that it has much more story to it than the previous ones we've seen and I'm actually starting to buy into the idea.
The film sees Will Smith and Jaden Smith starring on screen together in a futuristic science fiction story of a crashed space ship on a very hostile Earth and the son of a famous commander trying to find a beacon from the wreckage that will save their lives, unfortunately his father is injured and he has to make the perilous journey alone.
There's a lot more to this new trailer of After Earth which you can see below through TrailerAddict, and I'm really starting to take to the idea of it:
One of the most interesting things about this film is that it's directed by one M. Night Shyamalan, a man who has been struggling with keeping his reputation going through a number of underperforming films. If you are someone who isn't keen on Shyamalan then rest assured as writing wise Gary Whitta and Stephen Gaghan are credited with the script so perhaps there's going to be something for everyone here, and no need to be looking for and expecting some big Sixth Sense twist from the outset.
