New Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters trailer still uninspiring
There's not a lot in the new trailer for Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, even if it is an MPAA red band trailer, i.e. not allowed to be seen by those under eighteens. Mind you even then it's not that red band, there's some comic style blood and guts but it is on the side of comic, oh and there's a woman saying a rude word that's about it.
It still reminds me of Van Helsing all the way and the story seems to be pretty clear, especially if you've seen the other trailers.
I am surprised that the cast list includes Gemma Arterton, Jeremy Renner, Famke Janssen and Peter Stormare - yes I know I moved Renner's name down below Arterton's but that's because I'm less surprised at him than I am at Arterton, but then they've all done their fare share of light hearted, less than stellar films.
Mind you, had there been more expected of Tommy Wirkola who delivered Dead Snow - a film about Nazi zombies coming back to life and killing a group of kids in a snow chalet one by one?
Here's the new trailer through Deadline for Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, see what you make of it. It might have distanced itself from Van Helsing a little, but it's still there, oh and it's not that red-band-esque is it?:
