Stalked: Suspiria remake update, Sheen in Wall Street 2, Timberlake in The Social Network

Some snippets of news that just don't make a big story on their own but are worthwhile mentioning.

The first is that the remake of Dario Argento's Suspiria is still on the go...

Charlie Sheen is to have a cameo appearance in Wall Street 2...

Justin Timberlake is definitely starring in The Social Network...

Last we heard on Dario Argento's classic film Suspira remake was that none other than Natalie Portman was set to star in the film, a terrible rumour that turned out to be, well after that I thought it might be dead, not so it would seem.

Through Bloody Disgusting we're told that David Gordon Green is still directing and that the film is planned for next year, so the remake is still a go. Mind you we've been hearing about it since 2006!

While being interviewed for the New York Times, which I found through Coming Soon, Oliver Stone revealed that Charlie Sheen will be making a brief appearance in the new Wall Street film, Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps. Not shattering news but interesting to see that the original leads are returning.

Justin Timberlake has been rumoured for a role with The Social Network, the David Fincher directed story of the creation of Facebook, along with Jesse Eisenberg, Shia LaBeouf and Michael Cera. Now though he's confirmed as being in, not anyone else though, so far just Justin Timberlake. He will play, according to The Guardian, he will play the role of Sean Parker, the original president of Facebook and the founder of Napster. It's a surprise role for Timberlake considering the focus the film has and the fact that Fincher is directing, certainly the high point of his career. Will it be the high point of our cinema going experience though?
