A-Team moves forward with B.A. Baracus

TheATeam.jpgAmazingly it looks like the A-Team film has found it's B.A. Baracus and is another step closer to getting made, an adaptation that has been years and years in the making, and it's still moving forward.

The reported cast list is looking rather interesting now, although Murdock is still awaiting a name, the new B.A. has been chosen, and he's tougher and meaner than ever.

We've already heard that Hannibal is set to be Liam Neeson and that Face will be played by Bradley Cooper in Joe Carnahan's The A-Team, but we're still awaiting the news of who will play Murdock.

However today we hear through The Vancouver Sun and The Playlist that the former Ultimate Fighting Championship world light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is set to play the character.

Well that guy certainly has the look, and while questions might be raised about whether he can act or not, if the remake is identical to the television series then all he has to do is look mean and growl lines. I'm sure he can manage that, and television fighting always has such an element of showmanship acting isn't very far away is it?

Now we just need to know who is going to be playing Murdock. Chris Pine has already been pimping himself for the role of Murdoch, so perhaps that might just happen. If they do, maybe they could put a Klingon or Vulcan in the opening credits as a homage to the Cylon connection in the series credits!

I don't see Christopher pine as Murdoch at all, Jim Carey would be more suited to the role. Or heck why not bring back Dwight Schultz?
