I hadn't heard of The Killing Room before today but now I've seen the rough trailer online I'm more than interested, especially since it carries the cast of Timothy Hutton, Peter Stormare, Chloë Sevigny, Clea DuVall and Shea Whigham.

The film is about four people who sign up for a psychological research study and discover that they are actually involved in a classified government program that is something to do with mind control and they aren't intending them to leave.

The trailer for the film has a few issues, but it does look really promising, and isn't it great to see Timothy Hutton in something that looks a lot better than a direct to DVD film, and Peter Stromare is always great to see.

The Killing Room comes from Quiet Earth and looks rather interesting, a small, confined and intense thriller. Jonathan Liebesman has directed it, and he's set to bring the Battle: Los Angeles film to our cinemas next year, that's the alien invasion film with the growing cast, he also directed The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning.
