Moon clips online

Moon-Poster.jpgThere are some clips online for Duncan Jones' Moon starring Sam Rockwell, a film that follows an man assigned to a three year shift of a mining station on the moon, sending parcels of a rare material back to Earth which is helping to solve the Earth's energy crisis.

However just weeks before he's due to be sent home something bizarre happens, he begins seeing and hearing things, and when a routine examination goes wrong he discovers that someone else is with him on the Moon.

It's another uniquely interesting story, and I urge you not to read the full blurb for the film, as I just did, because it looks like it might give away just a little too much. Of course I might be totally wrong, and I hope I am, however there's that little worry.

Moon doesn't just star Sam Rockwell, it also stars Kevin Spacey as the computer system tasked to help the astronaut run the station.

Here are a few clips from the film and, of course, the trailer for those who haven't seen it as yet.

The clips are pretty low key, which I like, and they also don't try and tell us too much. At the same time though there's some mystery in there and I really like that fact, there are a few moments that make you wonder what's going on.

I really like the style of this film and the story that we've heard so far, and while my mind is racing off figuring out what it could all mean, and I might have found some answers already, I'm not entirely convinced that this is the complete story.

Moon is definitely something to watch out for, however very poor scheduling on the part of the EIFF has meant I can't see it at the press screenings for the film. Fingers crossed I can get tickets.
