It seemed to take an age, until Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire confirmed they'd be back for Spiderman 4. Details are a while away yet probably, but Raimi has mentioned a potential villain.

Could Spiderman be battling with Morbius next?

Sam Raimi is waiting for a script for Spiderman 4, and who knows how much say he has in the Spiderman villains. He has though told Empire, through /Film, who he might like to see in Spiderman 4.

I like it in the Marvel comics when Spider-Man fights Morbius. He’s really cool. A vampire! I like that combination of superhero plus supernatural.

It might just be wishful thinking on Raimi's part, but who knows. I'm not offay with my Spiderman villains, but would a man with vampire abilities suit Spiderman 4? Would you rather see The Lizard or someone else?
