Stalked: Priest, Freshman Roommates, H2, Harrison Ford
Scott Charles Stewart is doing Priest.
Tracy Morgan is in Freshman Roommates.
We have some potential H2 casting news.
And Harrison Ford is definitely got Morning Glory.
Scott Charles Stewart is to direct Priest, an adaptation of a TokyoPop comic book. I have no idea what that last phrase means. Apparently it is set in a world where man has been engaged in a centuries old war with vampires. A priest leaves the church, and sets off to rescue his niece from a bunch of vampires. The news is from The Hollywood Reporter.
Ever got one of those e-mails asking you to help a Nigerian prince, who needs help getting his hands on his fortune? Well now it's proved the inspiration for a film. Tracy Morgan is to star in Freshman Roommates, which sees a drunk young man responding to one of those very e-mails. In this instance though, the son of a deposed African dictator shows up at his door, and wants help getting his inheritance. The news is from Variety.
Some casting news for H2 now. We know Ron Zombie is back directing, and now Jo Blo have some news on casting. It looks like Scout Taylor-Compton as Laurie Strode and Tyler Mane as Michael are back. As is Malcolm McDowell as Dr. Sam Loomis. However, it also looks like there will be more flashbacks to Michael Myers youth. Daeg Faerch could be in as Michael Myers and Sheri Moon Zombie as Deborah Meyers.
We already knew that Harrison Ford was close to being in J.J. Abrams Morning Glory. Well now the news has been confirmed. And Rachel McAdams is now being linked with the female lead. Ford will play the anchorman, who hires a struggling female news reporter to revamp his morning show. The news is from Variety.
