Resident Evil: Degeneration trailer

ResidentEvilDegeneration.jpgA full trailer has appeared for Resident Evil: Degeneration, the fully CG film based on the Resident Evil games. The characters of Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield are back for this one.

I remember playing Resident Evil for hours on end, but I've only ever bothered to watch the first film. Head inside for a look at the trailer for this one.

Resident Evil: Degeneration takes place seven years after events in Racoon City, where the outbreak of the undead was ended by flattening it with missiles. An airport is the setting for a potential outbreak of the virus. And it is cordoned off and locked down. Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield try and stop the virus getting out.

The trailer is below from IGN through Coming Soon. I'm not overly impressed with the CGI, what about you?

Hmm I'm not keen on the way the characters move, not great considering how far CGI has come in the last few years.

Looks like a 90 minute cutscene from one of the games. Can't quite see the point.

Oh, and you should check out the third film, it's quite entertaining. Skip the second one though. Baaaaad.

They do look a bit like older console graphics. Especially considering what we see these days from Pixar etc.

I'll take your advice Dan and maybe skip the second. Unless I decide to be a glutton for punishment...

can anyone tell me what console this is on? What do you mean its not a game. You could have fooled me.

Heh. I'd date it at PS2 maybe. Or is that too harsh!

wow this looks brilliant
