Stephen Chow's CJ7 recently received an all too short teaser, now though we've been treated to a full length trailer with voiceover and subtitles.

However, after watching it I'm not too sure what I feel about the film, particularly about the CGI creature.

The effects look good and there are plenty of stylish Stephen Chow moments that make me think of Kung Fu Hustle (Filmstalker review), however the shots of the fluffy little creature really don't impress me.

In this first trailer for CJ7 the CGI looks poor and the fluffy creature just doesn't feel right. I'm hoping that there's something intentional behind it looking like that and also that the CGI we're seeing isn't the finished article.
