I'd rather see F&TF4 just with fast cool cars, a strong buddy film and some lovely ladies on a normal, flat screen. 3D is just a gimmick that gets in the way of any film.

"Fast and the Furious" is one of those weird franchises. I know in my little head that the movies are not that good but there's a charm, to at least the first one, that makes me come back. The second was a waste of time and the third, well, it had some wicked race sequences and a killer ending. Count me onboard. I'm really looking forward to it.

PS. I'm still hopeful for the appearance of a new Dodge Charger. Preferably a red SRT8.

Justin Lin is going to push the envelope on this movie on car action scenes. Whatever it takes to transport. Cops chases, shuting off motors to elude, running and jumping fences, high beaming cops, reverse, splitting up, and carrying pistols bc you dont sell drugs without guns

I think Paul Walker should have low cut hair bc he looks like Jason Statham. I think the stars should wear sunglasses when dealing or posting up. I want to see some night shots with deserts and sky filled with stars, kind of like pitch black lol

this sounds the same as 2fast2furious. brian already helped out the authorities and had his record cleared. they let him go. now hes been doin time for stuff hes been cleared of. sure whatever.

i dont understand y he has done time. i thought he got his record cleared in the second movie.i dont like how it jumps from street raceing with brian to driftin with that other kid from tokyo drift. its a stupid setup. i have to admit i like the movies but the way the movie series is put togther is dumb.

I get the story plot. Vin is going to after he leave mexico, with or without Brian, i dont know, head across Asia to meet or get Han and instead get Sean and set up a team back in the US bc Brian has cleared his record

Hey they got a petition circulating the web about postponing TFAF to get Letty back written into the script, dont sign it, its going to take longer to produce the movie!

I wonder if we're really going to see this while the writer's strike is ongoing.

After all it was tight to get it made, and now they can't even do a single rewrite on it.

I like the first two of the fast and the furious movies, they were the better ones of the three. How the hell can Brian be in jail when he was cleared in the second one. The second one, some are saying had no point. Um yea it did actually, it was pretty much to tell the fans about Brian's character more and besides it was a fun movie to watch. I liked the characters that stood by Brian in the second one. They should have had those ones in the first one. Maybe the 4th they will put brian, tyrese, vin, luda, and some others from the first and 2nd. that would be worth watching.

The movie has always been about the cars and if letty doesn't return, so be it. The main reason Vin is back bc he found out whether or not he is in the movie, Fast and the Furious lives. As long as there are cars, the series will never die.

Letty is going to die in this film at the beginning ne ways. I like reunions but bringing everyone back doesn't give it that fresh sense. When tokyo drift came out, it was new and something never done before. If they would have put more time and/or effort in tokyo drift, it would of been the best f&f in the series. The main thing that messed it up with me was the main character, the lack of cars, and the way the story seemed kind of rush without really exploring the character. This new movie should really show the character in a new light we never seen them. For example, Brian, why is he a cop over and over again? Show mexican style that the US will accept. Tokyo drift showed japan as a postmodern city that had girls dressed like dolls OMG! This movie need to have action scenes on public streets going really fast! I'm talking drifting, squeezing between buildings, anyway possible to make these scenes dramatic. If Justin Lin does this, push the movie to absoultue limit on car action scenes and camera angles, this movie will sell out at the box office. Even if the story isn't good, the car action scenes has to pass the storyline downfalls. Put money in the cars, not the characters. If everybody came back, the budget will not be met, and the "real stars" the cars, will not get the attention they need. FAST AND THE FURIOUS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds a little to much like the 2nd TFAF plot. The writers can't Just leave the 3rd movie Tokyo drift in the dust. They have to come off of that unless they want to go back to it in a 5th movie but by then i would think that everyone would forgoten it. Heres what i think Every movie has had a differn't director to the best of my knowledge. This one should be directed by Mr. Lin again. I really liked the Tokyo Drift movie it was so much more realistic and good! I really liked the characters. Movies like that start new legacys, Vin was def. put in there for a reason. And i knew he was going to appear in the movie even before i saw it. He is to much of a strong character to just throw out. So is lucas black. They need to tie The 1st one and the 3rd one together. The japanese world vS Americas world would be a good base for a plot. Lucas should have a bigger part in this one as vin should. I think they should leave them in tokyo and have more america come to it then have some type of conflict against another world like england or africa somewhere differn't. I just want them to use lucas again cause he did a good job with the last one and i hope lin is directing again.

i think your story is very incorrect ... fast and the furious 2 tells you that brian doesnt have to do time for letting dom go because he works with the police in 2 fast 2 furious... just thought i would let you know that .. and they can't just forget about tokyo drift ... the fourth addition is gonna be awesome no matter what the plot of the movie is..

My brother in law is in the movie and i have seen the entire official screenplay. Sean is NOT in the movie. Letty does die at the very beginning by the guy my brother in law is playing that drives a devil red daytona. Han is in the movie at the begining for a little bit. Letty drives an 09 Dodge demon for the driving scenes that she is in but is killed off pretty quickly. Brian is in jail so i'm guessing they are just ignoring the second one.

also paul walker drves a 98 GTR skyline and vin diesel drives a 1970 chevelle. until the end when he brings back his 1970 dodge charger.

also...they do not go to brazil to look for dom, dom is in the dominican rebuplic with han because thats where he ran to. Letty and Dom DO NOT have a daughter, they don't even get to speak to eachother in this movie. Dom thinks that it is Brian that killed letty so there is a fight scene where he pummels brians face into the floor while mia is crying. so pretty much almost everything u guys have said is wrong

Me personally can't wait for this movie to play in theatres, BUT i don't think the plot above is correct... This plot sounds too much like Fast & The Furious 2 w/ Tyrese.... On that movie we learned Brian had done time for letting Dom go on Brian's car and then we find out he could have his file erased along with Roman's if they could bring that guy down... REMEMBER????? so i really don't think they are bringing that plot AGAIN... it wouldn't work!!!

if you look at the story lines of the current movies and the storyline given by sean above, you can see that this fits in between one and two, also, in two they are referring to expunging his criminal record, whereas this storyline appears to be about letting him out of jail by reducing his sentence for letting dom go at the end of one. so at the beginning of two brian still has a strike on his record and has two strikes on the table= 3 strikes, so they are saying that his record will be clean, making life much easier as opposed to being put away for a very long time...

the fast and the furious 4 sounds great i really hope you are still going to have it come out because the toky drift was sweet. and vin deisel and paul walker make the movie even better. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOU MAKE GOOD MOVIES

The way the plot reads so far is that its going to be just like the second one except with van instead of tyrese and if it is that movies going to bomb and nobody is going to watch and if they do they goin to tell everybody dats its shity

look people.... the idea is, letty dies, therefore dom is back in the scene, otherwise he wouldn't be and there would be no dom in the movie, dom is one of the key players, so he has to be in it, and the best way to get him in is for someone he's close to to be put out, it's perfect logic... as for the idea of brain being in jail because of the stuff that happened, it's not logical, but when the movie finally ceoms out, there will be something there that makes sense, and you'll all go "OOOOOH, thats why" and finally stop acting like you know everything about it...

how could hans survive? u saw him blown to smitherenes! dont be daft. lets not critise the film until we see it, its hard to creat a great sequel after the success of 3great films.

Han did die in TD, the story for FF4 is 5 years after the first FF movie, so it's before Tokyo Drift happened, as Han did explain Tokyo was like his Mexico so we could learn a bit about his past in this movie. But I really think a 1 year delay is the best thing to do at this stage, they need to do rewrites, one rewrite is sure to have MANY flaws within it. But too late now, filming for the movie already started in February-March this year, and the cars seem less flashy for some reason.

Ok one itty-bitty detail. If Letty didn't go with Dom, then how come in the trailer she is helping him hijack an oil truck? If she doesn't see or speak to him in this film how is it the are working together in the trailer? I think this Letty dies thing is the equivalent to the Shortland Street Strangler YouTube scandal, when 3 endings got posted on the web, and it turned out that they were ALL decoys. This photo was taken before Rodriguez even signed on anyway. I doubt they would spend months negotiating her contract if they were just going to kill her off.
Anyway, that's just my feeling.

I would love to see the car list for this movie. I'm pretty excited that there are going to be a good mix or imports and domestics. I also heard a rumor a while back that Ken Gushi might appear in the movie. I don't know how credible that was though. Any one hear anything about it?

this is gonna be the sickest movie ever! Im glad Han is coming back cuz hes easily my favorite character of the franchize other then paul walkers character. After this movie they should make one bout Hans past. Btw, i know that this is a prequel to Tokyo drift but is it before or after 2 fast 2 furious?

For all those commenting on Brian and been released from jail it seems that even though this is the fourth film it is set before Tokyo Drift. The character hans is supposedly in this film and he died in the third film! I have a feeling this is set possibly just after the second film that's why brian is still fresh out of prison and has now been drawn back into helping the FBI. Or maybe the money they pocketed at the end of the second film has landed them in trouble putting him back behind bars? Think about it these films havexalways had small background plots that sometimes go un noticed til future films. Remember what vin said at the end of Tokyo Drift regarding Hans?

FF4 Is A Prequel to tokyo drift because in FF4 hans says "There is some crap going on in tokyo" so that means tokyo drift is a prequel so Tokyo Drift Comes after Fast And Furious
