As we mentioned a couple of weeks back,in between the sequels for Sin City, Frank Miller plans on directing Will Eisner's The Spirit. Today we have an addition to his cast for the film.

Scarlett Johansson will play a dangerous beauty named Silk N. Floss, a "sexy and intelligent secretary with a vindictive instinct" that makes her the perfect accomplice to the evil mastermind. It's been mentioned that the character was created for the film adaptation and will probably be a combination of characters from the comic series. Quoting /Film who we get the story from, "Eisner's comic strip has women with curves, and Johansson certainly fits that bill."

With years of comic writing under his belt, from Batman to Daredevil to Punisher, first with Sin City, then 300, (FS Reviews 1 2), it has to be said Frank Miller certainly knows how to bring a graphic novel to life on the silver screen & with style, and now with Scarlett too?? First day, first show, count me in already.
