Dakota Fanning set to "Push"

DakotaFanning.jpgPaul McGuigan's latest project has been given the go ahead. Push stars Dakota Fanning, Chris Evans, Camilla Belle and Djimon Hounsou. McGuigan is probably best known for directing Lucky Number Slevin.

Variety reports that the film will be set in Hong Kong, and will follow a group of Americans now based over there. The twist being they all have special powers including being telekinetic and clairvoyant. They are all trying to break free of a U.S government agency who wants use to their powers for their benefit.

Sounds like an interesting premise and a decent cast, although are we in danger of having had enough of the superhero/superpowers thing by the time it comes out?

Oh I don't know...for me personally I'm all for superhero/superpowers movies. As long as their good keep them coming! Though I don't really consider myself part of the general movie going public.
