Paris je'taime and Balls of Fury trailers

BallsofFury.jpgThere are a few trailers that I discovered today that are of note. Paris je'taime, Balls of Fury and a featurette for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

Paris je'taime is a segmented film featuring a whole raft of directors from Gus Van Saint and Gérard Depardieu to the Coen Brothers, Alfonso Cuarón and Wes Craven, all of which look at love in the city of romance, Paris. Richard's Note: Romance is not bounded by a city and should be in your lives and heart wherever you are.

It's certainly a fair list of directors and big names in the cast, names such as Juliette Binoche, Willem Dafoe, Bob Hoskins, Rufus Sewell, Marianne Faithfull, Miranda Richardson, and on, and on. You can see the trailer over at UK IGN.

Is this something that would grab you, names or not? I have to admit that I would be drawn to the plethero of big names regardless of the trailer or the plot, even if it looked terrible I would be interested to see it. Does it stand on its own merits though?

The Balls of Fury second trailer has gone online over at Cinema Blend. I'm told it's funny but I'm really not sure. Sometimes I watch the trailer and laugh, sometimes I don't. I think the draw here for me is Christopher Walken in a comedy.

Finally there's a featurette for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End online which looks at Captain Jack Sparrow. You can see that over at Coming Soon.
