Connery would consider a Bond return
Sean Connery is saying that although he is resting from acting any film that brought him back would have to be pretty big, and one such role would be James Bond's Dad. Strange, there's no mention of Indiana Jones.
"I am resting from acting. So you could say I'm retired. It would have to be something really considerable to bring me back. It would have to be an offer that you can't refuse...If there was a good part in a Bond film, I'd certainly look at it...I would never return as James Bond. If the part was well written, I could come back as Bond's father but it would cost them. It would definitely cost them."
Well who said charity was dead? I don't think you'll get asked Connery, I frankly wouldn't want to see you as his Dad, there's only one Father's gig you should be talking about and it's Indy.
Isn't it interesting that he hasn't said anything about Indiana Jones IV, I find that a little odd, wouldn't that be the first thing you would expect to hear in an interview like this if they are talking to him about returning?
In the comments from WENN through Hollywood.com, Connery goes onto say that he left Bond because he was fed up of all the Gizmo's and the fact he was getting "puerile" payment.
Hopefully we won't see him back as Bond, and after those comments I don't think we will, but will we see him in Indy? Even if we do, it sounds like it's going to cost them a fortune to get him back...are we that keen to see him?
