Samuel L. Jackson and Kerry Washington are in negotiations to star in an interesting twist on a race related film called Lakeview Terrace which is being produced by James Lassiter and Will Smith.

The film looks at a LAPD officer played by Jackson who tries to force the interracial couple living next door to him out of their home. Washington is being lined up to play the wife half of the couple, if you hadn't realised that by now.

The story comes from The Hollywood Reporter and makes me think of a few other "psychotic getting involved with happy couples" type films, policeman or not. However the fact that the story mentions the interracial aspect makes me think that this is where the film might focus some attention, and that sounds like it might add a little extra weight and direction to it.
