Despite news that Madonna's Maverick Films is in court with another production company about their Stanford Experiment film, this one is still powering ahead with the attachment of Christopher McQuarrie as co-writer and director.

Now the question is, will this mark a remake of Das Experiment or a film about the Stanford Experiment itself? I know the two are very closely linked, but there is most certainly a difference.

McQuarrie also directed The Way of The Gun, and has helped write the Logan's Run remake as well as The Usual Suspects, so he certainly has some strong credentials.

I wonder if the other film version of Stanford (or remake of Das Experiment) will hinder this film much?
