Kingsley as drunk hit man

BenKingsley.jpgBen Kingsley has had an up and down career, from the highs of Ghandi, Schindler's List, Death and the Maiden, Sexy Beast and House of Sand and Fog (my choice) all the way to BloodRayne and Thunderbirds, and his latest echoes somewhere in the middle.

You Kill Me is a film about an alcoholic hit man who takes a break (holiday, not leg) in California and works in a mortuary. There he falls in love with the daughter of the owner and begins to get drawn back into his old ways.

The news from Reuters is that it's set to star...

Tea Leoni...Luke Wilson...Dennis Farina, Philip Baker Hall, Bill Pullman and Marcus Thomas

An interesting cast. Great to see Leoni, Farina and Pullman in there, but the "dark comedy" aspect concerns me. I'm not so sure Kingsley will carry this off so well, and will it be one of his highs or lows?
