Jolie on for Tomb Raider 3?

AngelinaJolie.jpgAccording to the creator of Lara Croft, Angelina Jolie has agreed to reprise her role as Croft in Tomb Raider 3 once she has settled as a mother.

From Teen Hollywood comes the quote from Ian Livingstone, the creator of the acrobatic goddess:

"Paramount has optioned it and Angelina has agreed to star in the third. If the (new) game is as successful as the others it's likely Paramount will put the third movie into production soon."

It'll be interesting to see if the game is as successful as the others, and even if it's not, I can still see this sequel going through. It will complete a trilogy of Croft films, and probably mark the end of the road for Jolie as the character, most likely through her own choice.

I must admit I haven't seen the second, but the first movie was great fun, and they did manage to capture a lot of the essence of the game without losing the entertainment elements.

I havent seen Tomb Raider 1, but I have seen 2 because of Mr. Butler. Awwwww!!! Oh yes, and Ciaran Hinds!!!

I played a lot of Tom Raider game back in the day, and I've seen both the first and second films. And, to be honest, I wouldn't go see a third if it wasn't Jolie in it. Jolie is absolutely PERFECT as Lara Croft, shes got the look, and the attitude. I couldn't even imagine anyone playing it better then her.

God Angie makes me sick with her crazy behavior....
so why is it i soooo want to lay her?

seriously, the first tomb raider was ok. the second was a bit less intelligent ( yeah. ) but actually even more fun.
I can't WAIT to see what is in store for us with 3.

as long as Angies' in it.

People sometimes say that the way things happen in the movies is unreal, but actually it's the way things happen in real life that's unreal.
